Introduction
Part of the Nanyang Innovation and Enterprise Office(NIEO), open innovation labs (OIL) provide the facilities for entrepreneurs to tinker with ideas and inventions in the physical space. The four open innovation labs offer specialised facilities for DIY Bio, mechanical,electronic and mobile technologies, and regular training programmesand seminars.

Equipped with facilities normally out of reach for start-ups, the labs will enable entrepreneurs to produce and experiment with rapid prototypes at little cost and great speed in order for them to learn from their mistakes and refine their product concepts.

Designed to be multi-disciplinary in nature, the labs provide another venue where entrepreneurs from different backgrounds can come together to collaborate and form partnerships during the development process
